MCA
Objective
The course is designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology. This course is inclined more towards Application Development and thus has more emphasis on latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications. This course focuses on providing a sound theoretical background as well as good practical exposure to students in the relevant areas. It is intended to provide a modern, industry-oriented education in Computer Science. It aims at producing trained professionals who can successfully meet the demands of the Information Technology industry. Students are trained in the fields of Systems Designing, Application Software Development, Enterprise Resource Planning, Computer Networks, System Administration, Web Designing and Development, Database Administration, Data Mining and Warehousing, etc.

Eligibility
Any graduate Degree with Mathematics at 10+2 level or B.Com / B.B.A. with Ancillary Maths at Degree level.
Lateral Entry
Lateral Entry to 2nd Year: The candidates seeking admission to the 2nd year of the MCA course should have successfully completed BCA or Bsc. Computer science or graduate degree with PGDCA from any recognized University.
Award
Student after successful completion of the course would also be awarded MCA degree from a UGC Recognised State government university.
